It’s almost Friday. I need this weekend…who else is with me?!
I hopped around the weight machines tonight for a quickie strength training workout after a quick warm-up run around the track. My arms and legs were shaking afterwards…sign of a job well done
I rushed home to see this guy:
Any Office fans? I’m so sad Steve Carrell is leaving the show. So sad. I might cry after his last episode. I’m pathetic. My roomies might cry too, though. We can be pathetic together.
I also came home to a wonderful front door surprise!
Chelsey sent me a wonderful package of goodies, including the cookbook, The Real Food Diet, that I won through her giveaway! It was my first bloggie gift, and I’m ecstatic. Thanks so much, Chelsey! P.S. Look for some recipes from this cookbook to be featured on the blog soon!
This will definitely be making an appearance in tomorrow’s meals somehow (even though I have a nut butter obsession). If it doesn’t make it on an apple, it will end up straight in my mouth:
I munched on an egg and cheese bagel-wich for dinner alongside a steamed sweet potato topped with BBQ sauce and ketchup. Still don’t know if I could do the whole nut butter on top of a sweet potato thang like some of you…
Seriously, look at this thing…it’s huuugge!
Ok, I’m off to crash. Hope you guys are having a lovely night!
- What’s your favorite TV show?
- Have you received a surprise package or gift lately?

I love coming home to packages on the front porch! They are always full of love and surprises to make me smile. Hope you have a great Friday!
The Office is one of my favorite shows as well! That and Modern Family. Hope you have a great weekend!
P.S. First time visiting your blog and I love it
Dear Goddess of breakfast foods and nut butters,
I need to figure out what to bring to Marathon Brunch….it has to be something that travels well and that I can make it advance or morning of….any ideas?
::whew:: I’m glad I finally got that to you. Sorry it took so long!!!
I love the Office too! I’ve been a bad fan though and have missed the last few…errr…8 or so episodes! I hate that Steve C. is leaving…so sad! And yay on getting your giveaway goodies! I just won a giveaway on Gabriela’s blog, so I’m excited to be getting that soon. Have a great day!!!
YAY for your first bloggie gift!
nope I ‘ve never won a giveaway:( but I have to say that I may cry too…I love the office and Criminal minds. Weird combo right?
Nothin’ better than a ginormous sweet tater!!! I love savory toppings on my sweet potatoes. Haven’t been brave enough to switch it up to nut butter, either!
I am ADDICTED to the office too! I had class last night though, so I am waiting for this week’s episode to be available online! I am so excited to see it!
Hope you have a great Friday!!
I haven’t watched last night’s office yet. (It’s DVRed for tonight.) I’m really sad to see Michael go. My fiancé and I have had lengthy discussions about the dynamics of the show and who could possible take his place. We thought maybe his weird salesman friend or the British version of Michael would take his place, but we didn’t like either idea.
Then, last week, we saw it, the commercial for this week’s episode. And who is on…..Will Ferrell. Our jaws dropped. We looked at each other and said, “no f*ing way! This could work”. I totally wasn’t expecting him to be on. I don’t know how long Will Ferrell is schedule to be on the show, but if Steve Carell has to leave, Will Ferrell, is a good replacement.
I can’t wait for tonight!
I’m embarrassed to say that all my favorite shows are reality shows. *shaking my head*
ok girl you haveeeeeeeeee to try peanut butter on a sweet potato, it is honestly sooooo delicious!!!!!! just came across you blog & love it! and did you watch the office this week? will ferrell and steve are so hilarious together!!! (BIG OFFICE FAN HERE)
