Goodbye

Tonight was a sad, sad night. If you’re a fan of The Office (hi, Parita!) you know what I’m talking about. Michael Scott aka the best boss ever aka Steve Carell’s last episode aired tonight. Yep, I cried like a baby.

I fell in love with The Office a few years ago. Allie and I would sit and watch it for hourssss. I think other people thought we were lame. We didn’t think anything of it. Even though it has always been a hilarious show, I really never expected to cry from an episode. I guess that happens when you really like a character, huh?

Some people are obsessed with the royal wedding tonight, I am obsessed with The Office.

Everyone’s got their thang.

**************

I was definitely thinking about The Office all day. What, is that weird? But I was secretly excited for my evening workout sesh. As we all know, I’ve been in a bit of a funk. But I’m back, baby!

I realized that I need to start incorporating more hills into my workouts, so I decided to run at an incline for a mile and see how that went. So? Hills blow!

I made it to .73 of a mile at a 5.0 incline at a 5.8 pace. Blech. I was bummed but then I hit up the track for a couple more laps, did some arm work, abs and called it a day.

In the end, I was sweaty, refreshed, beet red and probably pretty lovely to sit next to on the T. :)

I rushed home to make this masterpiece:

Be jealous.

Deli chicken with french onion Laughing Cow cheese and lettuce in a whole wheat + flax wrap. I shoved it in my mouth in 4.32 minutes…or something like that.

Ok, off to cry myself to sleep over Michael Scott…just kidding. Sort of.

Do you have a show that you miss dearly?
