Happy Saturday Morning!
The sun is shining once again here! This morning, when I saw the rays peeking through my blinds I knew a run was on the agenda. Besides, my car is in the shop and I needed to hit up an ATM so I might as well kill two birds with one stone, right?!
My run was breezy and warm and although it wasn’t super far, it just felt good to be outside. I also want to get more accustomed to running outside for my 5k!
I walked for awhile so I could take some pictures. Spring has certainly sprung!
I got home and tackled one heck of a closet! Seriously, I have WAY too many clothes. Isn’t that just part of being a girl though??
I now have more clothes to donate and a closet full of spring clothing. Don’t you just love finding old favorites in your wardrobe?
Next up was breakfast!
Run + warm weather = smoothie. Duh.
I ran out of any kind of milk and don’t have any yogurt, so I figured water might work. And it did! This smoothie was extra dark and chocolaty. Plus I added a little somethin’ somethin’ extra.
In the mix:
- 1 banana
- 2 ice cubes
- 1 c. water
- 1 tbsp. chocolate protein powder
- 1 tbsp. special dark cocoa powder
- 1/2 c. frozen berry blend
- splash vanilla
- pinch Splenda
Yes, this smoothie is worthy of a straw and a spoon. I’m indecisive. Dare I say this was the best smoothie I’ve ever made? Nah, not much can top one that tastes like a Wendy’s frosty!
Ok, I’m off to shower and get ready. Allie and I are off to get pedicures! Weeeee!
