If this is one of your favorite combos, you’re my new best friend. I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot of best friends out there.
I included this combo in my breakfast after a 20 minute session of light yoga. After yesterday’s 3 miler, I knew I was in need of some deep stretching this morning. Holy glutes, I definitely need to stretch more often!

This morning, I made a breakfast bake based on Ashley’s amazing ideas. I took one and adapted to my tastes. Chocolate AND peanut butter for breakfast? Sounds fine with me.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Breakfast Bake
- 1/2 mashed banana
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/3 c. oat flour (I ground up steel cut oats until it was powdery)
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tbsp. dark chocolate cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp. PB2
- 2 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
Mix together dry ingredients. Whisk in egg, vanilla and milk. Pour into greased ramekin and bake for 30 minutes at 350F.
Good. Lord. This was amazing.
This bake was enormous! I could barely finish it! Ok, gotta head to work!
